well guys, after some 30 hours plus on the clock doing programming and trying not to loose my selfconfidence, i would like to formulate a need for some PRAXIS RELATED SAMPLES OF PROGRAMMING , at least for some essentials (for example: while having the not selfneutralizing (motor) stick activating the butterfly proportinal beginning on the upper piont downwards, i tried to programm P5 (the proportional actuator on right side) for alternating the flaps in normal flight condtions proportinal by only small +/- increments to obtain the flap setting optimised for speed or thermal flight profile..it took me almost 3 hours to get all flaps in line and tavelling the right way, even so i operate computer TXs since the first came to market)---i guess , and based on what i read in the forum section, i am not allone in being slightly overwhelmed by the almost endless versiatlity of the dc16. in consequence it is not very useful only to have the satements of what the dc16 can do, without some actual samples of the likages which could be done in relation the several, specific set-ups (imagine : store some 100 possibilities of settings in your human ram and trying simultaniously to adapt those likages to your specific needs.......sometimes irretating and confusing )
don`t let me be missunderstood : ths NOT a critisism on your design concept , which is in my eyes almost perfect and shows that it is born out of practical experience and expertise--its just to cope with the normal human brain (think about oldtimers like me , hard on the borderline to the alsheimer-disease, ironically said) B) . more than this guys like me have the bad habit of rather being flying instead of sitting in a dark room with a big can of coffee and try doing the right programming all night long----
i know this is not an easy issue, especially when one is bearing in mind that there are a lot of modelltypes (planes, sailplanes with a lot of flapping, helis, boats a.s.o) around, but compared to the other brands it has to be said , that this part of the jeti documentation is putting a dark shade on an otherwise excellent product-line.
maybe your testpilots could be helpful in issuing some programming samples in this forum or on the jeti homepage as a start-off...
thaks for listening and even more thanks if there will be something on the move in the near future....best regards tom
