Hello,

I’m using my Jeti DC 16 since more than one year now and I never found solution to my problem.

Input:

Electric glider with flaps and ailerons used on butterfly function for landing.

Need:

By using a switch change flight mode from throttle to glider without reversing the direction of operation
and maintaining the engine safety linked to the stick position.

ð If I change from one mode to the other and the stick is on full power position the engine stays off until
the stick is on 0 position


As you know on glider mode in flight condition the stick P2 is on full power position and pulled on landing phase.

For the engine it is the opposite, pulled is Off and pushed is full power.



What is possible on a low coast transmitter like the Turnigy should be feasible with my high quality DC 16 I guess !

But I’m not happened yet.



Also I would like to have it as simple as it is on the Turnigy and not having to use different switches to get this result.



On emergency mode it’s safer to have a simple operating mode instead of complex procedure.



I’m fully confident on your customer service and your engineering to develop or increase the DC 16 capacity.

That is very simply.

1.)You only need a logical switch for the throttle function as control.
This is P4 (LIN) AND SC in front position.

2.) Second you need a logical switch for the butterfly function as control.
This is P4 (LIN) AND SC in back position.

The switch SC switches between Butterfly and Throttle Flight mode.

Thats all!!! Very easy or not???

Anbei ist eine automatische Umschaltung zwischen Butterfly und Motormodus auf dem Gasknüppel, ganz ohne Motormischer,
einfach mit zwei logischen Schaltern, für alle die nicht besondere Englischkenntnisse haben.

Hallo Harald,

Ich beschäftige mich gerade mit dem gleichen Problem, aber jetzt weiter in englisch.

My understanding what Jean wants is that the switching of the flight phase shoud make sure that the Motor is off. This will need several logical switches and additional switches or buttons. I am using a 3 Position switch for speed, standard and landing. Only if landing is on, I can switch between the butterfly and motor using a stick button. And the swiching is only possible when the throttle is low.

I am still working on it, at the moment the butterfly is reversed, I will try to use additional logic switches or the sequencer to start butterfly when the stick is in high position. But not very simple at all.
