Hello,
this is the answer I got from Jeti:
My question:
----
Hello,
According to the product description, the MSW board can be used on the 24 series, and I would like to understand the use case for this board.
I presume that, if installed, and extra knobs, switches or sticks will have to go on the backplate, possibly after some drilling.
Questions:
1. How will any eventual extra knobs, switches or sticks show up in the system? Will they show up as regular Sx switches, or they are only configured thru the Teacher/Pupil menu?
2. What would be the hardware setup? Are these knobs or switches to be installed on the backplate? How?
3. Are you going to release any specific switches for such a setup? AFAIK, the backplate switches and knobs on the DS-24 are not available as spares.
4. Is there any other use case that I missed?
Thanks,

switches and potentiometers connected via this MSW board will be displayed as PPM input only. They will not be shown as standard switches in the transmitter. This MSW board was designed primarily for the DS-12 transmitter, but is of course compatible with the DC / DS-24 transmitters.
In the DC / DS-24 transmitters it's possible to connect two extra switches to the Sk and Sl positions.
